'Sink Hole' Temporarily Closed Hillside Avenue

A "sink hole" led to the closure of Hillside Avenue for about four hours Saturday afternoon.

Naugatuck Police Lt. Bryan Cammarata confirmed that the road had been closed, but he did not immediately have information about the nature of the incident that caused it.

The Republican American reports that it was a sink hole, possibly caused by the heavy rain on Friday.
