Teen Shot in Ansonia

Victim taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, according to the Valley Independent Sentinel.

Police in Ansonia are investigating a shooting that happened in that city Wednesday evening.

Ansonia police said the shooting occurred on Olson Drive, however no further information was available as of 10:30 p.m.

The Valley Independent Sentinel, which first broke the news about the shooting, reported that it happened at 7 p.m. and that the victim was teenager.

The victim is listed in critical condition at Yale-New Haven hospital, the news site reported.
