Naugatuck Police arrested three juveniles this week in connection with a larceny that took place at the YMCA in November of last year.

The three juveniles, whose names were not released due to their age, are Naugatuck residents, according to police. They were arrested by warrant on Jan. 14.

All three were charged with sixth-degree larceny and one juvenile was also charged with credit card theft. According to police, they took a cell phone and debit card from a locker while the victim was playing basketball at the YMCA on Nov. 12, 2013.

They were released to the custody of their mothers, police said.

If you are careless enough to leave your stuff in an unlocked locker at the Y, then you deserve to have it stolen

Was wondering where it said the locker was unlocked??? How about we pick on the loser punks who felt as though it was OK to take stuff that wasn't theirs instead of the victim? How about we let the victim chop the hands off these teen creep scums. It'll be the last time they take anything won't it? And what's this they were released to their "mommies?" Their mothers?? Where the hell were the fathers?? They couldn't make it?? This has all the markings of a judge wrist slapping them, no jail time, and programs galore to "correct" their wayward behavior. My crystal ball tells me these wastes will have their names in the papers many more times in the years ahead.

I agree with everything Chuck said. Where does it say the locker was unlocked? Why would this person deserve to get something stolen from them Chris? Stupid comment. They probably will get off easy and it's not right.

Is it not time that we begin to reveal their faces and names . This way we all know who they are.

It seems that criminals have more rights than us law abiding citizens....
