The Naugatuck Fire Department is sharing a checklist to help keep residents safe and warm this winter.

We've embedded it with this article, so you can download it or print it for your convenience.

The fire department also reminds residents that it will provide smoke detectors for those who cannot afford them. Those in need may contact Deputy Fire Chief Ellen Murray at 203-720-7085 to make arrangements to pick one up. The department has a limited supply so it is first-come, first-serve.
