Update: Rubber Ave. Open After Water Main Break
Naugatuck Police encourage residents to take another route as the fix could take several hours.
Update at 6:39 a.m. Friday
Rubber Avenue has been reopened as of Friday morning after a water main break shut down part of the street between Andrew Avenue and Hoadley Street.
Police sent out a message yesterday saying:
"Utility crews are on scene and it is expected the roadway will be closed for several hours, through the evening commute. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to bypass the affected area."
