Campaign Notebook: Murphy Predicts Being Outspent

Senate

Linda McMahon (R): David Collins from The Day wrote about the perceived tension between McMahon and Mitt Romney's newly running mate Paul Ryan. He says this comes from McMahon's refusal to support Medicare changes.. 

Chris Murphy (D): Murphy predicts that rival McMahon will outspend him in the general election campaign, reports the Norwich Bulletin. "I'm going to be outspent five- or ten-to-one in this election," Murphy said.  

Third District  

Democratic incumbent Rosa DeLauro has raised 35 times more in donations than Republican rival Wayne Winsley,  reports. While Winsley's contributions have come entirely from Connecticut, DeLauro has received funds from outside the state.
