Mezzo to Recommend Finance Board Member be Replaced

As reported in The Citizen's News, Naugatuck mayor expected to recommend the replacement of a Republican finance member.

Naugatuck Democratic Mayor Bob Mezzo thinks a change is needed on the Board of Finance.

At the Borough's next meeting of the Board of Mayor and Burgesses Tuesday, it is expected that Mezzo will recommend that Matthew Katra be replaced, according to a report in The Citizen's News.

Katra, a Republican, has been serving on the board, although his term expired June 1. Republican alternate Kimberly Kiernan is expected to be Katra’s replacement, according to the report.
