Naugatuck Residents To Have a Say On Budget Requests

The referendum is likely to be held on July 23.

Naugatuck residents will have the ability to vote yes or no on whether to approve both the Board of Education and town operation’s budgets likely on July 23, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.

Residents can also say if they vote no if its because the budget request is too high or too low, the paper reports.

Are you planning to vote on the budget requests? Do you think the budgets are too high or too low?

We have bigger problems in Naugatuck than the budget; just got listed as #5 in a poll for distressed community:http://rep-am.com/articles/2014/07/01/news/local/814052.txt

And you want the same Boards that put the budget together to vote ????

Signing a petition thrown in your face while coming out of the grocery store is one thing, actually driving to the train station to vote brings it to a difficulty rating of 9.7. I bet the mayor will schedule it on a rainy day.

Please create an Internet voting system and then lets see the results, the current type is like almost stealing the results, people of Naugatuck should demand a change to the voting system

Ann, are you saying board members who supported should not be allowed to vote?
