Senate
Chris Murphy (D): Murphy's campaign blog says that the roundtable series organized by Women for Murphy has begun. The group will discuss an array of issues with the candidate, including "paycheck fairness, healtcare, family values and even campaign strategy."
Linda McMahon (R): McMahon reports on her website that her Super Saturday was a success, saying she and over 700 volunteers made 24,912 phone calls and knocked on 13,176 doors.
Christopher Shays (R): Shays has no plans to broadcast television commercials, reports the Hartford Courant.
Susan Bysiewicz (D): Bysiewicz has raised the least amount of money of all Senate candidates, but still has a greater total than Shays, reports the New Haven Register. She raised $355,000 in the second quarter and has raised a total of $2.25 million.
Third District
Rosa DeLauro (D): DeLauro congratulated the National Endowment for the "Arts' Our Town" grant for Oddfellows Playhouse in Middletown, reports the Middletown News. She has consistently supported the Oddfellows Playhouse and its mission.
Wayne Winsley (R): Winsley attended a brainstorm in Hartford on Thursday in which various Connecticut politicians met with local business owners to discuss their concerns, reports the Hartford Courant.
