Fall Is Here!

The first day of Fall was yesterday September 22. Summer has come to an end, but as temperatures begin to drop and the leaves begin to change there are still plenty of activities to enjoy this season. Pond Spring Village in Beacon Falls, CT is an active 55 and over community and we are always looking for seasonal activities to keep us moving and enjoying life. Fall brings perfect weather for outdoor activities.

Leaf Peeping is always a relaxing way to get out and enjoy the colors of the season. Whether you prefer to take a drive down a country road or visit a state park for a scenic hike people of all ages and activity levels can enjoy spectacular views of New England in the Fall. Fairs are also a popular weekend activity this season. Children love to see the animals and ride the carnival style rides, while adults can shop for gifts and novelties or indulge in some tasty fair food! Another Fall tradition for many New Englanders is apple and pumpkin picking! There are several orchards o visit this season and plenty of tasty seasonal treats to make with the extra fruit you are sure to come home with.

This season is also a popular time for people to stop by an open house or two. Whether you are actively searching for a new home or if you are just curious to see what is being offered in the current market visiting open houses gives you a destination for your leaf peeping drive!
