"Green" Job Training Information Session

Current and prospective students who are interested in exploring “green” careers are invited to attend one of three free upcoming information sessions at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

Information sessions will be held Thursday, August 18 at 9:30 am or 5:30 pm in room T601 of Technology Hall, 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Students in the Danbury area can attend Monday, August 29 at 1 pm in Room CL4 at NVCC Danbury Center, 183 Main Street. Full tuition assistance may be available for eligible individuals.

NVCC currently offers an Alternative Energy Systems Technology (AEST) certificate, which provides emerging theory combined with hands-on exploration of sustainable technologies such as fuel cells, photovoltaic cells, solar/thermal/geothermal technologies and alternative fuel vehicles. The program prepares students for entry-level employment and/or the establishment of a small business.
