Senator Joseph J. Crisco Hosts 25th Annual Senior Fair

State Senator Joseph J. Crisco, Jr. (D-Woodbridge) has announced plans for this year’s 25th anniversary edition of his annual Senior Fair on Thursday, October 20, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The event is held each year at Warsaw Park, 119 Pulaski Highway, in Ansonia.

Senior citizens from throughout the area are invited to attend and participate; members of the local press corps are invited to cover this event.

Dozens of service providers and vendors will have exhibits at the fair to showcase the programs, products, and services they direct toward older residents, Senator Crisco said. The program is free for residents of Senator Crisco’s 17th District and a box lunch will be provided to those who attend.

“I want to encourage all non-profit groups, state and local agencies, and civic organizations with helpful products and services for seniors to register with my office for a chance to exhibit at this year’s Senior Fair,” Senator Crisco said. “There is no substitute for face-to-face contact with those who can benefit; vendors routinely describe the pleasure they take interacting on a personal level with senior citizens at this event.”

Senator Crisco said past and potential exhibitors should call 860-240-0189 with questions and to register for space that day.
