NAUGATUCK BOYS BASKETBALL

Away – Tuesday 7 p.m. vs. Kennedy

Home – Friday 7 p.m. vs. Wolcott

The Naugatuck boys didn’t play last week due to weather and school safety issues involving snow clearing on the roof of the school. The Greyhounds faced their 8th

postponement since the first of the year and will try and get back on track this week to end a 6 game losing streak. The 1-12 Greyhounds will schedule make up games from last week against Wilby and Seymour with date and time TBA.

NAUGATUCK GIRLS BASKETBALL

Home – Monday 7 p.m. vs. Wilby

Home – Tuesday 7p.m. vs. Kennedy

Away – Friday 7p.m. vs. Wolcott

The 3-13 Naugatuck girls will try and end the season on a positive note as they take on three NVL opponents this week after getting postponed last week. The Greyhounds still have a make-up game to be played against Seymour with date and time TBA. Lauren Piroscafo is currently 5th in the NVL in scoring and will look to close out the season as one of the top five leading scorers in the league.

NAUGATUCK SWIM

Away – Friday 6 p.m. vs. Torrington

The Naugatuck boys swim team had their scheduled swim meet with Cheshire cancelled due to the clearing of snow on the roof at Naugatuck High School. With school being cancelled there is no tentative date for a make-up with Cheshire. The Greyhounds will look to erase the memories of their only NVL loss to Sacred Heart this season when they tangle with the Raiders on Friday.

NAUGATUCK INDOOR TRACK

Away – NVL Championship Wednesday 5p.m. at New Haven

Away – Class L state meet Friday 5p.m. at New Haven

Due to the weather the NVL Championship indoor track meet was postponed and pushed back till this week on Wednesday followed right after that by the Class L state meet.
