Naugatuck Hall of Fame Seeking Nominations

Committee looking for nominations for inductions ceremony in October 2012.

The Naugatuck Hall of Fame nominations committee is accepting nominations for its annual induction ceremony to be held this coming October.

The recipient of the Naugatuck Hall of Fame Award shall be a one-time Naugatuck student or resident who has contributed to or excelled in athletics. Nominees can be male or female, living or deceased, a player, coach, manager, team or individual. The nominee must have graduated high school in 1997 or earlier.

Individuals wishing to nominate candidates should contact Fred or Jeanne Scheithe at fjshy@att.net for information.

I am thinking of taking my account to a different bank in protest.Read More (NAUGATUCK Savings & Loan perhaps) May sound silly to some, but in my opinion, changing the name of such an historic institution to me is blasphemous, not to mention sounding stupid. ION indeed!
