Naugatuck Schools Looking for Math, Reading Consultants to Start in March

School district has several positions to fill immediately.

The Naugatuck School District has several job openings available, including full- and part-time positions, as well as two elementary consultants to begin in March of this year.

The district is looking for a math consultant to work with students in kindergarten through sixth grade across the district and a reading consultant for Maple Hill Elementary.

The math consultant must have elementary and middle school certifications and a 7-12 Mathematics certification. Applicants should also have experience creating and implementing learning programs.

The reading consultant should have a degree in Early Childhood or a related field (Early Childhood Education credits preferred) and at least 1 year of experience in an Early Childhood Program. Potential employees must also demonstrate emotional maturity and the ability to work in a team environment.

Naugatuck schools are also searching for a Registered Nurse to serve as nurse supervisor; full- and part-time Head Start teachers with Early Childhood Education experience; and a long-term eighth grade language arts substitute at City Hill Middle School.
