Naugatuck Seniors Say Goodbye to Principal Serratore - In a Unique Way

Closing out Monday's graduation ceremony, seniors hoisted signs to wish their principal well on his retirement.

In a unique display of affection and well wishes, the Class of 2011 held up signs during the graduation ceremony to wish Principal Francis Serratore well on his retirement.

Serratore is retiring this year. His last day is June 30 and the current associate principal, Jan Saam, was hired as principal starting July 1.

During the last few moments of the graduation ceremony, just before Class President Stephanie White lead the 308 graduates in the turning of the tassels, Vice President Corinne White read a statement directed to the outgoing principal.
