Flash flooding in August took washed out the gym floor at Hillside Intermediate School.
Hurricane Sandy postponed the school's Halloween dance.
But the floor has now been refurbished after between $300,000 and $500,000 worth of repairs to the school - all but $50,000 covered by insurance - and so the school held its Halloween dance for students Friday night.
