Simsbury Defeats Naugatuck in Baseball
Great season by the Naugatuck High School baseball team!
The Naugatuck baseball team’s quest to make it to the semi-finals of the Class LL baseball state tournament were turned back by the Simsbury baseball team, which won 2-1 on Friday night.
Naugatuck still had a great season making the quarterfinals for the first time since 2000. The team was done in by the fact it was 0-5 with runners in scoring position, according to the Waterbury Republican American.
Simsbury advances to play Amity this week.
