Video: High School Students Teach for a Day at Cross Street School

Science students hold workshop for fifth-grade students.

Members of a grade 11 and 12 anatomy class at Naugatuck High School spent time at Cross Street Elementary School on Tuesday, conducting an all-day work shop session with the fifth-grade students.

Throughout the day, roughly 140 Cross Street students filed in and out of the gymnasium where they rotated through five different science-focused stations. Each station entailed a small, hands-on experiment for each group, all focused on the anatomy of vision.

Science Teacher Beth Rojas lead the event.
