Naugatuck Park & Rec is offering the American Red Cross Pet First Aid Course for Dog and Cat owners. From basic pet owner responsibilities, like spaying, neutering and administering medications, to managing breathing and cardiac emergencies and preparing for disasters, Pet First Aid courses offer information and advice pet owners can trust. Topics include managing urgent care situations, such as car accidents; wounds; electric shock; and foot, eye and ear injuries. Fee $70 per participant. Pre-registration and payment is required. To register, please call our office at 203-720-7071. Payment must be received to reserve your spot. Registration is very limited. Please leave your pet at home for this program.
