Women's Soccer Team Seeking Players
Valley Fire, an over 30 women’s soccer team, based in Oxford, is seeking players for the spring season. Players must turn 30 by 12/31/12, although goalkeepers can be 28. The team plays in the Nutmeg Women’s League, and games are Sundays at 4 pm. The league is considered recreational; however play is competitive and skills/experience are necessary. Valley Fire practices Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to practice, whether or not they play on the team.
