Naugatuck Baseball Coach Wants to Start Youth Travel League

Baseball players between the ages of 7 and 14 would be invited to play.

Naugatuck High School baseball coach Tom Deller has been hearing for the past few years that Naugatuck children are going to other towns to play travel baseball.

But Deller believes those players would look better in a Naugatuck uniform, and he plans to do something about it.

Deller wants to start a travel program for Naugatuck baseball players between the ages of 7 and 14.

A meeting about the travel program will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the Goodyear Lecture Hall at Naugatuck High School.

Anyone with questions may call Deller at 203.768.2149 or email him at nhsbaseballcoach@yahoo.com.
