Naugatuck Native Named College Athlete of the Week
Josh Perry having a great season at Southern Connecticut State University.
NEW HAVEN - Southern Connecticut State University cross country runner, Josh Perry, a senior from Naugatuck, has been named the Northeast-10 Men's Athlete Of the Week for his performance this past weekend, announced earlier today.
Perry had a third place individual finish to help lead the Owls at the Conn College Invitational (8k) at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn.
Perry finished in third with a time of 25:13.
The Owls finished in 10th place with 239 points.
The Owls will next compete Saturday at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at Jamesville Beach Park in Syracuse, N.Y.
