The Overlook Blacksox 8 and under baseball team was crowned state champions of the Roberto Clemente baseball division recently at Municipal Stadium. Some of the coaches and players on the team are from Naugatuck.
The team beat Watertown, Cheshire and Prospect to win the title and advance to the North Atlantic Regionals beginning this weekend.
