Fire Department, Veterans to Host Children's Halloween Parade

Got children? You can take them to the Naugatuck Fire Dept. Thursday for Halloween.

Are you looking for a place where your children can have a good time on Halloween night in a safe environment? If so, you are in luck because the American Legion Post No. 17 and the Naugatuck Fire Fighters Local 1219 are teaming up to host the annual Halloween parade and party Thursday night.  

The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a parade that kicks off in the parking lot at ion. Bank, formerly Naugatuck Savings Bank, at 87 Church St. It will proceed down Old Firehouse Road and will end at the Naugatuck Fire Department headquarters at 41 Maple St., where the party will take place. 

The party will include refreshments for attendees and they will receive a goodie bag and a ticket for a chance to win door prizes.

The event is for Naugatuck children ages infant to 10.
