City Hill Middle School is a large, multi-level building located on Naugatuck's east end. The school educates the borough youth in grades 7 and 8, providing 28 academic teachers in math, science, social studies and language, as well as 12 teachers in art, physical education, music and technical education.

The school also has a principal, two assistant principals and two guidance counselors, as well as two nurses. A total of 12 certified staff teach special education.

The school hosts several sports teams for the students and offers a myriad of extracurricular activities and clubs.
