DiLeo Hair Studio

<p>In addition to a hair salon, DiLeo is also the home of the DiLeo Universal School of Cosmetology and Barbering. </p> <p>Cosmetology, hair cutting and styling classes start weekly and new classes are offered Tuesday every week. The school teaches students the latest trends in methods, equipment, facilities and academic curricula. The curriculum is 1,500 hours and focuses on hair care and treatment, hair shaping and styling, skin care, facials make-up, application learnings, manicure and nails, sanitation and hygiene, anatomy and physiology, business ethics and management, chemical application, Afro-American hair care and state laws. </p> <p>Students can enroll full or part-time. School is closed for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. </p> <p>The staff consists of a certified teacher, a licensed cosmetologist, technical director and two cosmetology trainers. The hairdressing and cosmetology school take pride in servicing its multicultural clientele. The school also offers advanced classes in Black cosmetology, nail technology and hair weaving.</p> <p>The facility consists of two floors. The first floor is the practical learning area, set up as a salon only open to students and staff while participating in instructions and demonstrations.
