Naugatuck Public Works & Recreation contains two of the town's most important government office. Headed by Superintendant Robert Roland, the Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for maintaining all of Naugatuck's public green spaces and recreational areas, as well as organziing numerous holiday and summer events. The Department of Public Works, administrated by Director James Stewart, is responsible for the town's pothole repair and snow removal work, as well as the town's recycling center.
