Naugatuck Valley Community Church

<p>The Naugatuck Valley Community Church, an English-speaking Southern Baptist congregation right in the downtown, shares its space with two other churches: the Portuguese-speaking Igreja Comunidade Batista and the Spanish-speaking Primera Iglesa Batista. While each operate for their specific language communities they all offer similar religious services.</p> <p>The Naugatuck Valley Community Church, lead by Rev. Tim Leggett, is the oldest one of the three having been in operation since 1990. The church provides a number of programs including nursery school, Bible studies, youth groups and missionary programs to Hartford, Vermont and other places.</p> <p>"All are welcome to join us to worship God," Leggett said when asked about a message to the community.</p> <p>Leggett can be reached by e-mail at timleggett@sbcglobal.net.</p>
