Not to mention pressure cookers, BBs and nails. Obviously many more laws need to be passed. My…Read More biggest concern is that just anyone can walk into a sporting goods store and buy a baseball bat with no background check at all. Disgraceful !!! Where are Malloy and his cronies when you need them?

There was also no NRA registrations listed into evidence as what is posted in this article yet two…Read More Certificates Item #57 and exhibit #605. The term registrations could imply by the term that they had been NRA members in which they had not been. These had also been required to be obtained under CT law to fire a pistol at a range or apply for the purchase and or carry a handgun of any type.
Another item was listed in this article as a .223 bolt action rifle when in fact it was mis labeled into evidence as Item #14 Albanian Enfield .323 and it is actually a .303 No 4 Mk1 Enfield circa 1945.
I wanted to point these out since you had made an update and may have not known this.

All: A statement from Stephen J. Sedensky III, State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of…Read More Danbury, clarifies what several readers have pointed out as factual inaccuracies contained in the court documents. Sedensky's statement reads, in part:
"The released search warrants were obtained on December 14, 15, 16, 2012, within a short time of the shootings. Subsequent investigation revealed that shootings took place in two of the classrooms, not three, and that the shooter was not wearing a bullet-proof vest, nor was he a teenager."
The full statement may be found at the following link: http://www.ct.gov/csao/cwp/view.asp?a=1801&Q=521714
Given this information, I have corrected the article so that it now accurately reflects the facts as provided by authorities.

The release of this info was pushed by Gov Malloy to bolster his idea that more laws would prevent…Read More this from happening again. For me it highlights that bad parenting should be against the law.
Why would any parent put guns, ammo, and violent video games in the bedroom of a special needs child?
Unfortunately mom paid the ultimate price but the misery she left behind far exceeds the misery she took with her.
You need to ask - "How can lawmakers prevent bad parenting from every happening again"? I don't foresee any laws that will.
