Located just near Route 63, the golf course provides nine holes at par 36. Golfers must register at the pro shop, and proper golf etiquette must be followed at all times. No jeans are allowed on the course.</p> <p>Adult residents pay $450 for an annual membership;  seniors  (62 and older) and juniors (12 to 18) pay $350. Nonresidents pay $850; nonresident seniors and juniors pay $650.</p> <p>During the season, the course is closed for League Play Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 5:45 pm and on Fridays from 3pm to 4:30pm.</p>

The facility is personalized with pictures, an area for a book swap and encouraging posters and affirmations on the walls. Although young girls are usually too small to use the equipment, older students may attend and there is no age limit from that point forward.</p>

The Union City Little League--one of two Little League programs in Naugatuck--serves families east of the…More Naugatuck River. The league operates baseball and softball teams for boys ages 5 (before April 1) to 12 (before April 30) and softball for girls up to age 16.</p> <p>There are no tryouts. All Naugatuck children who meets the age and residencey requirements will play on a team, and evaluations will subsequently be held to make sure skilled players who are eligible to move up to a higher division receive that chance.</p> <p>The League is broken down into eight levels: Rookie League (ages 5 and 6); A Division (ages 6 and 7 ); AA Division (age 8); AAA Division (ages 9-12); Major Division (ages 10-12); Junior, Majors and Minors Girls Softball.</p> <p>The season begins April 25 and ends mid-June. All-star teams play from the season's end through the beginning of August. </p> <p>Schedules, directions to fields, game updates, news and fundraising information are provided on the Union City Little League's website. </p>

The town's outdoor pool is located on the backyard grounds of the historic Hop Brook Elementary School, at 75 Crown…More Street in Naugatuck. The L-shaped pool is administered by the Naugatuck Parks and Recreation Department, which keeps it open during the summertime only. The hours are 1pm to 6:45 pm from Monday through Friday and noon to 6:45pm on Saturday and Sunday.</p> <p>The rates for the pool are $2 for town residents and $5 for out-of-town residents. Summer passes are available for $30 for town residents and $60 for non-residents. There are also family memberships available. Admission is free for residents ages 5 and younger and 62 and older. </p> <p>Picnic tables are also available at the outdoor pool.</p>
