Preview of '13 The Musical' at Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury [UPDATED]

Final weekend for this Stage II Community Production featuring a great local cast made up of area teens.

Seven Angels Theatre Brings A Hit Broadway Musical To Waterbury January 10-18.

Seven Angels Theatre of Waterbury is thrilled to bring a great musical for young adults January 10-18. 13 is a musical with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn. There will be five performances only.

About 13-The Musical…It’s a grown up show about growing up. 13 is an upbeat musical that has become popular with teenagers and families across the country. Following a move from New York City to small-town Indiana, young Evan Goldman grapples with his parents’ divorce, prepares for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigates the complicated social circles of a new school. 13 The Musical premiered in 2007 in Los Angeles and moved to Broadway in  2008.

Join us for this Stage II Community Production with a great local cast.

Carey Canata of Middlebury stars as Evan. This talented young man recently told me that he is honored to be cast in this important role before he grows too tall to play it. Lauren Stango (a daughter of Chuck Stango) of Middlebury, Allison VanDerlyn and Marley Thompson of Watertown, and Marina Kolitsas of Woodbury are some of the cast members that I have seen in other productions. I am happy to see that Michael Newman and Julia Rocchio of Naugatuck are also in the cast. The entire cast list appears below.
