Grounds open at 7:15 p.m. for picnicking, with the show at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $23 for adults, $18 for seniors and $15 for students and children. For Sunday performances and the added show on Thursday, June 27, tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and $12 for students and children. Group rates and chair rentals are available, and a snack/soft drink concession is on site.

It’s a Grand Night for Singing! Danbury’s Musicals at Richter opens its 29th season under the stars with “Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein,” celebrating classic songs from “The Sound of Music,” “South Pacific,” Oklahoma,” “The King and I,” and many other beloved R & H shows. Directed by MAR Artistic Director Donald Birely of New York City and Lauren Nicole Sherwood of Norwalk, the production features a large cast of local performers and a youth ensemble under the musical direction of Dan Koch of Millbrook, NY. The show runs for two weekends, June 21-29, with a special added Thursday performance on June 27. Tickets range from $12 to $23, with discounted rates on Sunday and Thursday.
