Annual 5K Road Race Set for Sunday
Participants will run for a cause in the Bob Veillette 5K Road Race and Walk this weekend.
The 8th Annual Bob Veillette 5K Road Race and Walk is slated for Sunday, September 8.
Race day registration is at Library Park in Waterbury beginning at noon. The race starts at 1:30 p.m, there is also a one-mile walk circuit. If people register in advance, they can save $5 off the registration prices.
Legendary marathon runner Bill Rodgers of Boston will be in attendance to sell and autograph his book, run in the race, and join in the trophy presentations.
