The Life and Times of William Webb

Join us when Kevin Johnson of the Connecticut State Library portrays William Webb, a native of Hartford and real-life member of the regiment. Through Johnson's extensive research, hear the story of Webb's early years, recruitment in 1863, training, and his stirring memories of campaigns and battles of the 29th. Hear about the struggles and achievements of the African Americans who served in the U.S. Colored infantry during the Civil War.
