For 15 years, employees of Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan have joined together to form Team Naugatuck Valley for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Waterbury.
This year a fifth annual Pasta Supper will be held to help raise funds for Team Naugatuck Valley. The supper will be held at the Portuguese Club in Naugatuck, 110 Rubber Avenue on Wednesday, April 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. There are chances to win raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
Relay For Life is an overnight event designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer in our community. Cancer survivors and caregivers are the guests or honor. For 24 continuous hours a member of each team walks to honor or remember someone – perhaps it is themselves, a relative, a neighbor or a co-worker.
