THE PACK IS BACK!

Palace Theater Channels Vintage Vegas with Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show

WATERBURY - They were style with substance, swing with swagger and a non-stop party that everyone wanted to attend. Now, audiences can relive the magic of Frank, Sammy, Dino, and Joey when Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show brings vintage Vegas to the Palace Theater in Waterbury for one night only on Friday, February 8, at 8p.m.

Hailed as the next best thing to seeing The Rat Pack live, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show celebrates 50 years of Vegas’ “Kings of Cool” in a critically acclaimed, one-of-a-kind theatrical production featuring new arrangements of classic songs; never-before-heard songs written by the late, legendary songwriter Ron Miller (“For Once In My Life”); and authentic recorded voiceovers made exclusively for the show by Sandy Hackett’s father, the late, legendary comedian Buddy Hackett.

The only show with producers and cast members who have real ties to the real Rat Pack, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show has entertained millions of people worldwide with over 70 performance dates across the country, all the while maintaining its home base at the LVH Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The stellar cast includes veteran writer, producer and actor Sandy Hackett as Joey Bishop; David DeCosta as Frank Sinatra; Dezmond Meeks as Sammy Davis, Jr.; and Tony Basile as Dean Martin. Using ad-libs, improvisation and fresh comedy, the cast effortlessly transports The Rat Pack to modern day while taking audiences on an unforgettable journey from tears to belly laughs.

Before the show, the Palace Theater will host a 6pm preshow dinner in the Poli Club, located on the theater’s mezzanine level. Dinner is $45 per member and $55 per non-member, which includes tax, service fees, coffee, tea, and a complimentary glass of wine. A cash bar is also available. Seating is limited, and reservations can be made when purchasing tickets through the Box Office.

Tickets for the Palace Theater’s presentation of Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show, which is sponsored by Bank of America and Darter Specialties, are $50, $40, and $30 and can be purchased by phone at 203-346-2000, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the Box Office, 100 East Main Street in Waterbury. With our patrons’ best interests and safety in mind, the Palace Theater has decided to postpone both Friday and Saturday evenings’ presentations of Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show and The Pink Floyd Experience due to the predicted magnitude of this weekend’s winter storm. The Pink Floyd Experience concert date has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 19, at 7:30pm, and Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 2, at 7:30pm. All tickets will be valid for these new performance dates. Please note that our Box Office hours may change on Friday and Saturday based on the severity of the storm. We appreciate your patience during this process and hope you will use great caution if traveling this weekend. If you have any additional questions, please contact the Box Office at 203-346-2000. Stay safe! *Please note that ACTJamsproductions.com's Saturday night Smooth Jazz Affair hosted in the Palace's Poli Club will also be postponed to Friday, February 22 at 6pm.
