Naugatuck Education Foundation Announces Grant Recipients [UPDATED]

Six educational programs will be honored on April 24.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that the Naugatuck Education Foundation announces their grant recipients for the 2013-14 school year:

Carolyn Mucci (Hillside)- Moving Beyond Book Reports: Book Trailers

Deborah Wilson (Salem)- Book Creators Club

Roberta Buckmiller, Tony Loomis, Lisa Green & Sean Dunn (High School)- The Key to Cardio

Alison Stephens (City Hill)- Seaperch Robotics After School Club

The NEF would also like to congratulate Maureen Greene & Karie Stango (Hillside)- Technology Math Stations. They were originally mistakenly left off the list of grant recipients.

The  grant ceremony will be held April 24th at 4pm in the Neary Room on Church St. There is limited seating available, so please RSVP to naugatuckeducationfoundation@gmail.com if you are interested in attending.

The Naugatuck High School & Western School Drama Club will be performing a musical number from their wonderful 'Wizard of Oz' at the grant ceremony.
