The hilariously charming hit musical FOREVER PLAID will take you on a trip to Fiftiesville with Sparky, Jinx, Smudge and Frankie, a fictional 1950's boy band. Tragically, and inconveniently struck down before their first big gig, "The Plaids" will be brought back to earth to take the stage one last time.

This critically acclaimed musical celebrating the precision harmonies and well-choreographed moves that were the epitome of 1950's traditional values, home and harmony, the uproariously entertaining FOREVER PLAID is perfect for the entire family. Filled with the nostalgic sounds of the 1950's, the musical incorporates beautifully composed close four-part harmony. "The Plaids" sing some of the 50's greatest hits including Three Coins in the Fountain, Undecided, Gotta Be This or That, Moments to Remember, Crazy 'Bout Ya, Baby, No, Not Much, Sixteen Tons, Chain Gang, Perfidia, Cry, Heart and Soul, Lady of Spain, Scotland the Brave, Shangri-La, Rags to Riches, Love is a Many-Splendored Thing and a surprising rendition of the Beatles, She Loves You. This powerful show signifies a simpler time, when parents and children were listening to the same music. It's about four ordinary guys who have the opportunity to go back and have a second chance.  As an audience member, you can't help but think ‘what would I do if I could go back, if I could have another chance?'"

FOREVER PLAID is an affectionate revue of the close-harmony guy groups‘ (e.g. The Four Aces, The Four Freshmen) that reached the height of their popularity during the 1950s. They personified the clean-cut genre. This quartet of high-school chums' earnest dreams of recording an album ended in death in a collision with a bus filled with Catholic schoolgirls on their way to see the Beatles' American debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. The play begins with The Plaids returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory.  FOREVER PLAID is a musical comedy revue interspersed with witty and insightful banter about the love of music, growing up, and “making one‘s mark.”  It is also about the everyday courage we need to face life, a kind of a swinging American version of “Happy Days” meets “The Full Monty” meets Tony Bennett, chock full of all those “retro” songs that are cool again.

Delightful Evening last night at FOREVER PLAID at The Warner Theater's Nancy Marine Studio Theater..Sharon A. Wilcox and AJ Bunel once again prove to be a wonderful team and brought The Plaids back to life in glorious fashion! Kudos to them both along with Ian Diedrich (Frankie), Dan Porri (Smudge),Meric Martin (Jinx) and of course..Bret Bisaillon as the Amazing Sparky! Take the time to go and enjoy...you will not regret it.
