Preview of 'Night of Music' Benefit at Kaynor Tech High School

Mrs. Finn has been such a huge part of the Kaynor family by class advising and caroling around the holidays that faculty, staff and students want to help her as much as they can.

The Kaynor Tech High School staff is sponsoring a 'Night of Music' in honor of music teacher Donna Finn who has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. The community is invited to the event that will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Kaynor Tech gymnasium at 43 Tompkins Street in Waterbury. There will be a silent auction and more.

Monetary donations or donated items that may be used to raise funds to create a scholarship in her honor and defer medical costs for family are being sought. The Donna Finn Scholarship will be awarded annually to the student who expresses a passionate appreciation for music and the arts.

Donation: $10 Adult $5 Students and siblings
