Golden Pond has been Ethel and Norman Thayer’s idyllic summer retreat for their entire married life. The arrival of their daughter Chelsea, her fiance Bill and his teenage son Billy brings this year’s peace to an apparent end. The often turbulent relationship the young woman shared with her father growing up and the difficulties faced by a couple in the twilight years combine to make the entire family wonder what changes, both good and bad, their future holds. Join the Thayer’s journey of love, forgiveness, redemption, endings  and perhaps, beginnings.
