Red, White, Blue and Gray - A Naugatuck Community Band Concert[UPDATED]

The Community Band will return to the Strand Theater in Seymour.

UPDATE:
The Naugatuck Community Band presented an excellent mix of patriotic pieces for their "Red, White, Blue & Gray' concert on Saturday evening at The Strand Theater. An appreciative audience, including many veterans, came out on a rainy night.
To commemorate the 150 anniversary of the Civil War, the band played several pieces with a blue and gray theme. A tone poem entitled "To Heal A Nation" included the conductor reading the text of Lincoln's iconic Gettysburg Address.
Vocalist Joe Martin sang The Star Spangled Banner and the five anthems of the branches of the armed forces. Veterans were invited to stand during their anthem and be recognized.
I have added some photos of this wonderful concert to this post.
