WATR Christmas Eve Live Broadcast at Waterbury's Palace Theater

WATR 1320 General Manager Tom Chute's annual OPEN HOUSE CHRISTMAS PARTY was held early on the morning of Christmas Eve. The live broadcast from the lobby of the Palace Theater in downtown Waterbury began at 6:30 and went until 10am.

There was plenty of coffee and lots of goodies available for listeners that stopped into the lobby. All who attended were able to take part in a raffle for several prizes. Many favorite Christmas hits were also part of the live broadcast.

Several WATR celebrities were on hand, as well as some community theater members. Don Leona performed "White Christmas" toward the end of the broadcast. The Palace Theater's Sheree Marcucci and Jennifer Zembruski got up very early to be able to welcome patrons to the front lobby.

I got to speak with Mr. Chute about his recent vacation with his family in Walt Disney World (they had a wonderful time) and his voiceover in Seven Angel's Miracle on 34th Street.

Thank you and Happy Holidays to the gang at WATR!
