It was right after we got hit with the "monster" snow storm. Almost all the snow was gone, finally! I came across a Red Shouldered Hawk on my clothesline. Now this is not what was strange, we have two mating pairs around my neck of the woods, among countless other Birds of Prey. What amazed me was this guy was watching and waiting for worms to crawl out into the mud from under the snow! I would have never believed it in a million years if I didn't see it with my own eyes. He would spot one, tilt his head, then fly down to the ground and gobble it up. I snapped off a great shot of him, many actually, here is my favorite.
