Obituary: David N. Renzoni, 61, of Naugatuck

He was a longtime Naugatuck resident, who owned David Renz Productions and Recording Studio in Prospect and worked for 25 years at The Music People.

 

Mr. David N. Renzoni, 61, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at his home on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.  He was the beloved husband of Valerie (Corcoran) Renzoni. David was born in Waterbury on March 20, 1951, son of the late Nello and Mary (Cosgrove) Renzoni.

He was a longtime Naugatuck resident, who owned David Renz Productions and Recording Studio in Prospect and worked for 25 years at The Music People. David’s lifelong love of music led him to work with and attend many major acts including Jimmi Hendrix, The Doors, The Stones, The Kinks, The Who, and James Cotton.  Both Dave and his legendary pasta sauce will be missed by all his friends and family. Besides his wife of 29 years, he leaves a son, Jerrick M. Renzoni of Naugatuck; his daughter, Brittany T. Renzoni of Naugatuck; his two brothers, Jerry Renzoni and his wife Kathy of Orange, Rick Renzoni and his wife Donna of Naugatuck; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 1 at 10am at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9-10am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Eastern Regional Medical Center, 1331 East Wyoming Avenue,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19124.  To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com.
