Obituary: Francis Ross, Jr., 61, of Naugatuck

Mr. Francis S. “Frank” Ross, Jr. age 61, beloved husband of 33 years to Giselle (LaBombard) Ross of Naugatuck, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 after a brief illness.

He was the son of Francis S. Ross, Sr. and Theresa (Vitelli) Ross of East Haven and was born on May 29, 1951 in New Haven. Frank was a Vietnam War veteran serving with the U.S. Army. He worked as a roll grinder at Farrel Corp for many years and then at MPP in Waterbury. He was a member of Brian’s Place Bowling League in Hamden.

In addition to his wife, Frank leaves four children, Anthony Ross, Andrea Hunt and her husband James, all of North Haven, Melody Ross and her fiancé Gabriel Rivera, Christy Ross and her boyfriend, Mike DeBrizzi all of Naugatuck, his sister, Kathleen Nazario and her husband, Alphonse of East Haven, his brother, Joseph Ross and his girlfriend, Jane Fioentino all of East Haven. He also leaves six grandchildren, Anthony Ross, Jr. Gina & Amanda Hunt, Mariah, Makenzie, Victoria Ross and several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11 at 9 a.m. at the St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, (Rt 63) Naugatuck with Military Honors at the close of the service. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour.
