Obituary: Henry W. Piotrowsky, 69

Henry W. Piotrowski, 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at VITAS Hospice Care, St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Alice (Pralakas) Piotrowski.

Mr. Piotrowski was born on Dec. 4, 1943 in Wilkes Barre, Penn., a son of the late Anthony Piotrowski and Anna (Swan) Piotrowski. He graduated from Naugatuck High School class of 1961 and Post College 1963. He worked as a senior supervisor for Pratt & Whitney for 33 years and then retired from Uniroyal Chemical in Naugatuck. Henry loved fishing, boating, hunting and going to Cape Cod but most of all he loved his wife, children, grandchildren and life.

Besides his wife Alice of 49 years he is also survived by his two daughters, Laura Adomaitis and her husband Michael of Naugatuck, Candace Boyd and her husband Michael of Naugatuck, two sons, Dennis Piotrowski of Naugatuck, John Piotrowski of Naugatuck, two sisters, Helen Clemons of FL, her son Anthony Clemons and his wife Bronwyn of Tenn., and Antoinette Murowsky of Naugatuck. He will also be missed by his two granddaughters, Natalie and Valerie Adomaitis, as well as, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one son, Walter Piotrowski.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at noon at Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
