Mrs. Joanne (Morris) Anderson died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. She is survived by her husband Ralph Anderson, who was the love of her life.
Joanne was born on Sept. 6, 1955, daughter of Bessie (Patestos) Morris and the late Michael Morris. She was the owner/broker of Red Hot Realty in Prospect. Real Estate was her passion. She loved helping others make their dreams come true, especially when it came to finding them the perfect home. She was a warm and loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed having her family all together and made sure that everyone felt her love. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and especially her granddaughters who lovingly knew her as "Yiayia."
In addition to her husband, Joanne is survived by her loving children, daughter Korena Graffam and her husband Ryan, son Ralph Anderson and his wife Tracey and her four beautiful granddaughters, Olivia, Alexis, Sophia, and Samantha who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by a sister, Diane Morris, a niece, Michelle Bell and her husband Rob, their three children and many friends.
The funeral will be held on Friday February 22, 2013 at 11:15 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 937 Chase Parkway Waterbury for services at noon. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
