Obituary: Mrs. Jane (Moore) Barnum, 70, of Beacon Falls

BEACON FALLS - Mrs. Jane M. (Moore) Barnum, age 70, of 122 Essex Court, passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital.  She was wife to William D. Barnum.

Mrs. Barnum was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on Sept. 15, 1942, daughter of the late William and Anna Moore. She resided in Beacon Falls since 1986.  Jane retired from Bristol Babcock in Watertown where she worked for five years, and she had also worked at Lewis Engineering and Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan.  Jane was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son William D. Barnum, Jr. of Phoenix, AR.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Cusano, Dr. Kert Sabbath, and the staff of the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center for the exceptional care given to Jane.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.
