Obituary: Victor L. Grandpre,’ 73, of Naugatuck

Mr. Victor L. Grandpre’ ,73,  passed away peacefully on June 13, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.Mr. Grandpre’ was born on Feb. 27, 1940, son to Ernest and Yvonne (Brousseau) Grandpre’.

He is survived by his four children,  Carol Grandpre’-Smith and her husband, Raymond of Woodbury, Lisa Ford and her husband, Vincent,  Herbert Grandpre’ and Jeffrey Grandpre ’  all  of Naugatuck.  A  sister, Monique Deziel  of Bristol, and his brother Rudolph Grandpre’ of Bethany.He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Raymond, Amy, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Kaylea , as well as several  cousins, nieces and  nephews. Not to forget the many friends he made near and far.

Funeral Services will be held, Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Prospect to Saint Mary’s Church, 338 North Main St., Naugatuck for a mass at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at Calvalry Cemetary.  Friends may call the Funeral home on Friday morning between  9 – 10:30 am.
